Holy Cross is awesome!

Holy Cross is awesome!
Holy cross is a awesome school and has a lot of strengths such as we have a lot of out side space like the woods where we can do science and actually be able to see nature rather than having to  look at  pictures all the time. Another strength about Holy Cross is that since we have a small school everybody knows each other.

Some problems we have in Holy Cross is we don't have a place to do the announcements all the time because the cameras don't always work and the podium that we stand behind is small so half of us is in the podium and the other half isn't which doesn't look good. Another problem that we have is we don't have a place for the older kids to play in other than the gym which isn't as fun as having a gaga pit. Finally it is irritating having to wait for somebody to unlock the door for you because they are always locked, especially when we are running late for the announcements we have to wait until somebody with a key comes to open the door for us.

This would be awesome! but we have to make a similar kind
A solution for the announcements issue is we could put two desk in a room with a big map or green screen behind us and a better camera right in front of us that way that announcements look better and don't just randomly cut.

A solution for older kids not having a place to play is we could build a gaga pit which is really fun!

A final solution for being able to get into the building is older kids who are responsible could get keys in the morning and give them back later on the day to use that way problems with not being able to enter don't occur.

Calcium (Ca)

Calcium was discovered by Humphry Davy in 1808. He discovered calcium by mercuric oxide and lime and then preformed electrolysis on it. Some of his ideas were based off of Pontin and Jons Jacob Borzeius's experiments which created calcium amalgam but Davy got Calcium by its self.

Calcium is found in a lot of foods such as milk, cheese, yoghurt, seaweeds, nuts and seeds, beans figs, broccoli, spinach, tofu, and many more foods and of course in our body's and different types of rocks. We can find calcium in a lot of foods we eat and in our bones/body  so we know it is present, doctors also know that it is in our body's.

.

Calcium is typically a found as a compound because in nature it is never found by itself. Some common compounds that calcium is in are calcium arsenate, calcium carbide, calcium carbonate, calcium cyanamid, calcium oxide, calcium phosphide, calcium silicate and calcium sulfate.

Calcium is in period 4 on the periodic table because it is a alkali metal  an it is a chemical element. Calcium is in group 2 because it is alkaline earth metal, which is what group two contains

calcium fun facts:
In order for humans to absorb calcium we need vitamin D!
The word calcium came from the latin calx word which means lime.
You need it to strengthen your bones, and to keep your body healthy.
